This last weekend, Bravo(network) played Brokeback Mountain. I have to confess, I've never seen the movie, and it was okay I suppose from a straight playing Gay point of view. But personally I've seen better (real Gay people) act in much better films with more depth.
Of course, I have all the hot stills from Brokeback Mountain...but ...I'm sure Bravo cut out all the good scenes,...so now I'll have to Torrent it, or buy it,...buy uses less space.

Nothing is new here other than the fact that I drink too much on occasion.
Nothing new here is good. I have to deal with may father's alcoholism,...and I'm just trying to avoid it. So I drink, but I became rather ill the last time I drank, because I knew when to stop, and just kept going. And I paid the price!!
My dad is a mess, not only is his health all f*cked up, without alcohol, but to drink, like there's nothing wrong?!?
I can't deal with all this shit, while my older brother, and younger sister think ....Life just goes on!!
And Granny is the worst care taker of them all....She, basically lets my DAD get away with all kinds of SHIT, ...then if trouble happens, it's my fault, ...because I wasn't basically kissing his ass!!

Power Outage
This morning about 7:25 am, the power went out while I was being naughty on the net. (just as well)
This has been the 3rd power outage in 1 1/2 weeks. I looked out the front sliders (sliding glass front door), and there were 2 county cruisers, 2 fire trucks, and a power truck was just going down the road. Well, it was my bed time, so I didn't bother walking down the road to find out what it was.
Later, when I was on my way to get dinner, I noticed power company trucks on the side of the road and in the woods adjacent to the road, cutting trees back.
It seems a tree had uprooted (which isn't surprising with all the rain we've had) and fell against the power line snapping it.
Last week it was a lightning strike to a local transformer, then later in the week some idiot decided to drive their car into a telephone pole, instead of hitting a squirrel. (sometimes I wonder about folks)....Dee Dee Dee!!!

I just met a hot young man, 19 to be exact, that a friend brought over when she visited at 1:00 am.
MMMmmmMMmmMmM!!!!
She had called me about 10:24 pm to tell me about him, ....I was not in the mood I told her. A few minutes later she called and wanted to borrow something, and I said okay, but she would have to come over here. (we live about 5 blocks away from each other)
When she came in, behind her came this strapping young man about 6'2", in very fit condition with tats all down his arms... (at this point I must say that tattoos on a fit man is a turn on for me)....seeing the tats, I assumed he had been around (criminal circles) ...and after he had me check his warrant status on the PC , I wasn't surprised.
Yet . . . now I was getting interested, (as usual) I go for the Bad Boys..lol.
Now of course I'm hoping to see him again in the not to distant future . . .like tomorrow, or later tonight (wishful thinking).
I certainly need a man, it's been waaaaaaaaaaay tooooooo long, yet these cute twinks are just snack material, they usually can't be depended on and there eye is quickly distracted.
Regardless ... I'm going to make the most of this situation.

Mozilla Firefox 3.0
I downloaded Firefox 3.0 last night, and so far it's working fine, other than annoyingly slowing down on my blog? I hadn't switched before because the add on theme I use for the browser (Noia 2.0 eXtreme) wasn't available for 3.0, but I checked last night and saw there was an update so I took the plunge ...lol.
Downloading images has greatly improved, whereas I used to wait several minutes to download an image with Firefox 2+, 3.0 takes a few seconds, like IE always has.

Remixing Tunes
With Jake's being closed and nothing to do, I've started sifting through my vast amount of music, removing unused music, and replacing it with new tunes. I have also started to separate a few mega mixes I have, restoring them to single tracks, so I can do as I please with the music.
But as usual my CD burner is acting up,..so they will just be digital files on a PC.
(7-15-08) 3:12 am ~ ~ ~ Adult ADD
I started to decompile a mega mix and while searching for a reference of discography, I switched channels, and started searching for another song, I had long dismissed.
I found it...lol.. and downloaded it!!
OOOoooh I was so relieved, ...(and it's weird, I felt so relaxed after it) ...especially after listening to it a couple times.
WTF??

I've been jonesing for a drink, but have been good, although now my sweet tooth has been taking over. I ate a third of a 2# bag of Gummy Bears last night, in between munching on Taco flavored Doritos, and drinking lots of ice water.
Then there's my roasted nut addiction (peanuts & pistachios*), which would be okay if I just knew when to stop eating them, usually not until my lips are puckered from all the salt, and my nails are cracked from trying to pry open the difficult shells*.
It could be worse, when I lived in Michigan I loved Hickory nuts, and spent my time shucking them or using my teeth to open them. I was a kid then (back when I had teeth that could do those things), so much for stripping wires with your teeth,....(which contributed to my cracked front teeth). Now it's all I can do to keep them in.

Granny is being extra-Evil lately,...I warned her of her behavior, and she told me it is none of my business ...something she HATES me to say.
I reminded her of it, then she got Vicious, bringing up stuff that's 25 years old, expecting it to bother me....lol.
I felt sad that she would stoop to that level, but not surprised, because lately,....she's been VERY DISAGREEABLE, and super hateful.
She should be glad I'm a Libra.

These church building look rather similar to me, ...they are both Episcopal Parishes, ...though they are thousands of miles apart. One is located in Paso Robles, CA., the other in Lapeer, MI.
Yet they are very much like each other, interiorly, and Spiritually. Even the windows and organ placement are similar.

Missing Jake's ...
I've been missing Fr.Jake's for the last few days, ...I don't even want to come on the net....(which is not normal for me, since I work on the net). I know that sounds Bitchy, but that is how I feel.
Like a death, Anger is tying to set in . . . I really don't feel sorry, I am just disappointed, that it was so abrupt.
I need a place to fellowship in, and Jake's was that place for me ...now I don't know what to do.
I feel lost now. I feel sorrow!
I cry enough as it is, now I'm a mess!!
I wish I had the drive to open my own site, but ...I don't, what with trying to keep Granny in line and dealing with my Father's alcoholism/health probs, and trying to keep the family together, ..(even if I don't like my step-mother..her kids are worth it)..

Projects . . .
I bought 2 Celtic crosses at Lowe's, they are composite cast ornaments for a garden. But I didn't buy them for a garden, I bought them as an art project. I was just
walking through the store checking things out, and I saw the crosses and I thought to myself(it would be cool to paint those up) ...so I checked the price, and they were only $8.00...so I bought the only 2 on the shelf.
Of course they sat around for 2 months, till today when I proceeded to go to work on them. Here's some quick pics of them, from my shitty digital camera. I like the Silver one with the Gold Corona,...(which isn't done yet) ...still have to add emerald (colored) accents ....Then there is the Copper Celtic cross I bought from a Catholic Church in Canada that closed, (it wasn't supposed to be sold) and I picked up a few Spiritual Finds there.
