My Mom and I.
Yea, this was my pre-grad photo from Tri-Township (Rapid River) High, Rapid River Michigan, Circa (1982).
That is my tall ass with my shorty Mom,..she certainly was proud, and you can see it in her face.
Yea, I had a perm,..they were in style in the late 1970's to Early 1980's.

Holy Vaca, those ¨perms¨ had some moments of fashion in the late 60´s too...I got one. I was a young department store buyer on my way to ¨market¨ in New York...I rushed home all thrilled, went to sleep, woke/sobbered up and RAN BACK and had my hair cut and stripped into a Military Style (it turned out to be a big hit on Fire Island the following weekend...who knew?)...I´ve rarely had my hair very long since...it works for me!
Long hair Works for ME.
Especially if it wasn't Shaved Off... in a "Fit of Pique" !!
