Detroit Churches
Here's a few churches in Detroit. All are still standing though a few have been empty for at least 5 years, ....and sadly some are in different stages of deterioration.
Off To New York (State)
Well it seems I'll be taking an impromptu trip to upper NY State to help my father move the rest of his things out of his house down here. Then I'll come back on Amtrak. It should only take a couple days, so Sarah my house cat can fend for herself for 3 days, ..the outdoor cats will just have to hunt for their food..lol. Maybe they'll leave ... one can only hope.
I sit around here with nothing happening for weeks, then when I decide to have a good old time with long unseen friends, the day after (hungover) Dad calls,..so yesterday I spent the whole day in bed, well most of it. And now I'm running around vacuuming, and cleaning..(not too much), for visitors.
I still NEED a shower!!

Lots of Pictures
Well I found a whole bunch of pictures yesterday, most are architectural. They were from a NYC site about historic pipe organs, though the majority of the pics are the interior shots of churches, some exterior but I find the towering buildings to be a distraction, and I really don't feel like removing the offending buildings in photo shop. So I'll just post a few of the historic buildings, some standing some long demolished.
Never Opened
I was rummaging around in my over stuffed bedroom this morning and found 2 DVD movies that I bought last month and they've never even been opened. In fact I barely remember buying them. I do remember watching "The Day The Earth Stood Still", with Keanu Reeves which wasn't all that great, ..but I must have overlooked James Bond's "Quantum of Solace" and "Body of Lies" because the plastic was still on the DVD's.
Now I'll have something to watch when it storms out and the satellite is off line.

Depressing Photo
The background picture on this blog is depressing, and I'd change it but ... then I have to superimpose the no covenant badge on it since I've become HTML dumb again after years of the same template. Paint.net has a free app. for all kinds of photo and drawing projects. Like photoshop, but free. You can add layers, or subtract, it also has unlimited undo(thank God), because I'm always screwing something up.
We'll see if I can find just the right picture, which hasn't been happening for the past 2 weeks. I start to search, then start reading, and 3 hours later I have 1 picture...um..lol.
Porn on the other hand I don't seem to have that problem with.
(Well I changed it after collecting pictures for 6 hours, ..and some photo-shopping to darken it so the font is visible).

Company Tonight
I'm expecting company tonight (female)who may or may not stay for a couple days ...would be nice if they did, ... but everything seems fucked up lately.
Still haven't found a job, close by .... I really don't want to drive 20+ miles to work, with gas prices like they are.
I wish I could find a FIT Sugar Daddy, ...I'm sure there are some here in Florida, ..most are married, ...but if they can get away with it, ... I'm not gonna tell!!
After-all until we can legally marry, it's not adultery ... in my eyes. At least I'm not the one committing it, ... the other party ...> That's none of my concern.

Yea ... that's right Leonardo!! Listening to the local club mix on the radio, on it seems one of my BEST receivers, ..a 1970's Technics, one of those aluminum faced beauties, of 55 Old School watts per channel,..I can't crank it past "3", without risking the cops, or breaking a window!!

Everything is just going along fine, I think .... though the job situation isn't too good. Lot's of places hiring, but they want General Managers, and really, I'm just not up to being abused any longer. Cooks make the cash, and don't have to deal with the managerial bullshit. Whoops!!
I just about passed out earlier, ... either smoking, or drinking too much... but then it's Friday, ...so WTF!!
I took a short walk around the neighborhood and met this cute guy ... What can I say?!?
Anyway, ..he's quite the talented organist, ...I'd rate him up there with Cameron,..but he's bi-polar... and well if you've been around people like that you know how it is!!
He's still playing the organ, ... he seemed rather enthused that I asked him to play, though I notice him ogle the piano..lol. I told him I lost the key, 3 years ago, but I had a digital piano,..he seemed upset,..Oh well!!
He's sure giving the Pioneer speakers I use for extension speakers a work out, but they can handle it!!

The (N O) Fridge
The (NO), stands for New Orleans. We all know what happened after Hurricane Katrina what with the power going out and full refrigerators sitting for weeks without power.
Well when some idiot in my family decided to have the power disconnected from my father's house, and not inform me ahead of time ... The (NO) scenario happened at Dad's house.
I wasn't going to touch a closed powerless fridge rotting for weeks w/o power.
Now the power is back on, and the fridge is running, still closed... I think it should be taped closed and written off as a casualty of a power failure.
