The (N O) Fridge

The (NO), stands for New Orleans. We all know what happened after Hurricane Katrina what with the power going out and full refrigerators sitting for weeks without power.
Well when some idiot in my family decided to have the power disconnected from my father's house, and not inform me ahead of time ... The (NO) scenario happened at Dad's house.
I wasn't going to touch a closed powerless fridge rotting for weeks w/o power.
Now the power is back on, and the fridge is running, still closed... I think it should be taped closed and written off as a casualty of a power failure.
