Rotting Real Estate

I really can't imagine why the RC Diocese of Fort Worth Texas would be interested in accumulating more worthless real estate that in 3 years or more will look close to these Roman Catholic Parishes, unless they have hidden parishioners that will fill all the empty pews?!?
