Faith Restored
It does in some way bother me that neither my brother, nor my sister attend church,...... but not that much.

But I suspect in their case it's more than just lax values. I suspect it was my mothers death, that changed them.

Do Not Watch this film if you are susceptible to motion sickness,...other than that it's a pretty cool movie.I'm sure the 15-22 crowd will enjoy it!!!

Sigh!!
Granny is driving me wacko,..and she's not even here. She calls me at 3 AM, and accuses me of playing games, her words. She believes Dad has died and the rest of the family is lying to her.....um...HELLO!!
It's getting ridiculous, .... I don't even want to visit her because everyday seems to be a new argument. I'm GLAD she's in that rehab,..because I'd be popping bolts if she was home.

Another Day
Yesterday was a very tiring day, ....not only had I been up for close to 48 hours, but I then had to drive to Orlando International Airport(55 miles one way), at 9 pm to pick up my sister. And lo and behold of course there was road construction going on, reducing 3 lanes of the Turnpike to 1, for at least 10 miles. Grrrrrrrr!!!
And returning was worse,...thankfully though the traffic was light in the construction areas.

Well I guess I don't feel so bad, so no pain pills today. I was just stiff earlier. I still don't have much motivation today. It's not as if I enjoy going to see Granny, ..or even Dad.
I wish someone else where here, so I could just sleep the month away.

I feel like sleeping for a week. My back is screwed up, not too bad, but I'm contemplating taking a Lortab so it's bad enough. I'm sure it's because I lifted a Lay-Z-boy into my trunk Wednesday, rescuing it from a newly vacated residence. Not to mention all the shit going on around me with family.
When I went to the hospital yesterday to visit my Dad, I had to stand for 3 and a half hours,(there was no chair in his room) ....when I got back to my car I could feel the pressure in my back, and knew today wasn't going to be fun.
Oh well, such is life.

Exhausted!!
I don't know how I do it, last week Granny fell and hit her head, and sometime last night my Father had a stroke.
The Family Nurse is exhausted, physically and emotionally.
My Father's wife packed up and left last Tuesday, .... and now it's just little old me taking care of everybody. I hope someone in the extended family takes the initiative to give me a hand, because I dunno if I have the wherewithal to continue to be The Rock.
But I might surprise myself.

Fall Down, Go Boom!!
Granny fell early Tuesday morning and smacked her head on the edge of the fridge door, and blood was spurting everywhere. She was lucky that I was still up, because if I had been asleep, Lord only knows what would have been the outcome.
I rushed to get a towel for her to hold against her head while I called 911. She was taken to the hospital.
The bump on her head didn't require stitches, but they gave her a cat scan to the head,(and found an empty void)...
The emergency room Dr. said it looked as if she had recently suffered a stroke, so they kept her over night, and Thursday night also. She's expected to come home tomorrow, if the MRI on her head comes out okay, ....We'll know on Friday.

In another NEWS FLASH, my step-mother is moving back to New York, ..my father seems elated, since he's NOT GOING BACK WITH HER ....(that's right Katie, The Wicked Witch is flying her broom back to Snowland!!)
I'll keep working on him, till he divorces the harpy!!
